My first time in Turkey and feeling very apprehensive, what am I doing I don’t know the country, the language or the people and their culture.
I am looking for property all be it for investment but even then I was nervous to sat the least.
Mehmet met us at the Airport and even though it was late took us for something to eat, then to our apartment and settled us in.

For the next few days Mehmet showed us property and land at first around Dinhum.
We went to the after sales office and met Claire and Barry. We also went to the sales office where we met Ibo, Carol and Rammy who showed us properties off plan on DVD and where they were situated.
We then went away to think about things and decided to buy one part finished and one off plan.
Mehmet took us through the legal stuff; we signed power of Attorney, obtained our Tax numbers and opened a Bank account. We had a lovely lunch and then went to the solicitors to sign contracts for our two new properties.

Mohmet was BRILLIANT, Rammy and Ibo answered every question we asked. We are not people to enter into anything lightly, we did our homework first.
We had property in Spain before which we sold but through all the process above, which took months in Spain, we never felt as safe or comfortable and relaxed as we have with ASEM.
All the fears and anxieties we felt on arriving in ALTINKUM have deminished.
The Turkish people are so friendly and can’t do enough for you, even when Martin and I went for a meal on our own.

ASEM the company are very big in the area, we can contact them at any time. They also have an office in Darlington, England. The team there have been most helpful especially Helen.
The sales team are very good, no pressure.
The aftersales team are there for us now to carry on the good work and to see us through to the end process of the build.

On completion they will help us with all the amenities, including shopping for furniture if required and help in rental management.
But the best part of all was we had a brilliant time and a good laugh with the sales team Carol, Rammy, Ibo and of course Mehmet who catered for our every need (Martin hasn’t forgiven him yet for the waxing) he was fantastic.
